The 302 v-8 engine gives this little car plenty of pep; and the automatic transmission coupled with the power steering makes the car fun and easy to drive. The paint and the vinyl top are new and have been done to a very professional level. The exhaust system looks extremely clean and is the factory single exhaust. This maverick is a correct numbers matching car with the build sheet, owners manuals, and the brochures. The interior, under the hood, and in the trunk are all clean as a whistle, and in excellent condition. This car is a time piece because it look very close to the day it rolled off the show room floor.

1974 ford maverick 2 door sedan 40,981 original miles excellent condition, runs great. Click here for video of engine starting and running. The only known change is a new gas tank. Garaged its entire life. Owner history:original purchase in december 1973 (see attached sale receipt)current owner since august 2001. The original purchaser had his nephew sell the vehicle (not believed to have ever been titled in nephews name).

This particular maverick came off the assembly line with the 200 cu. In. 6 cylinder engine with the c-4 automatic transmission, and ford 8" 279 rear end. It is an original virginia car that was a father and son project over 12 years ago. At this time all the grabber specific parts were installed, and the car was painted in the original bahama blue color, and a complete new interior was installed from headliner to carpeting. The body is super straight with no signs of patchwork on body or floors or any collision repairs. The paint is very nice with a slick glossy finish with no orange peel. There is however a couple issues in the paint.
