This car is an eco-dream. The car paid for itself in gas savings. It averages 50 MPG city/highway, and I got 72MPG on my 70 mile roundtrip commute San Francisco to Palo Alto. Ideal commuter car for longercommutes. The first generation Insight is a cult car among hyper milers. Knownfor it's extraordinary gas mileage, this is the manual transmission modelwith the highest mileage. Perfect for those who drive a lot or have a longcommute, and want to be eco friendly. The hybrid battery is working well, and Iam including a prolong charger with the car, to grid charge and maintain thebattery in good condition. It is currently registered and passes smog withoutissue. 2 recently new, low rolling resistance Bridgestone Potenza RE92 tires. Selling because I now have 2 children and need a larger car, and no longer havea long car commute. Known issues The mileage trip counter reset button does notwork, so it's not possible to zero the trip counter. The rear hatchautomatic release does not work, it opens with the key.
