1953 studebaker tristar commander i purchased this car in the spring of 2015. The previous owner bought this car from an auction in 2000, and kept it in his shop where it stayed for 15 years. While he owned the car he never transferred the title into his name, as a result the title was misplaced. I have since filed and received a texas bonded title. The car is a numbers matching car, has a factory 232 v8 3 speed on column with over drive. Since i have owned the car i have replaced the following, ( fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel sending unit, water pump, master cylinder, oil line, freeze plug, voltage regulator, points, condenser, and new 6volt battery). I also have a few spare parts to be included with the sale of the car, (2 stormberg ww carburetors, 2 used fuel pumps, one 6 volt starter, one tristar hood emblem, new trunk seal in package). I also have the factory build sheet, and the car is equipped with all the correct features that it left the factory with.
